Take Aim for 2016
There are only a few days remaining in 2015 and I have some big goals to achieve in 2016. I have found that preparation is key when setting out to reach any goal you may have. There are a few steps that need to be done in order to be able to accurately judge your results.
Assess where you are starting from. There are no judgments here, just see where you are starting from. For a financial result, simply sit down and list your assets (what you own), your debts (what you owe) and any savings/income sources that you currently have. For example, one of my goals is to be debt free other than my home (eventually I want to pay it off as well!). How will I know if or how much I am getting closer to my goal if I don’t know how much I actually owe? Continue reading
Merry Christmas from my home to yours!
As the new year of 2016 quickly approaches, I find myself looking back over the last year. My life has changed in so many ways from only one year ago. I had such great hopes for 2015 and I attained several of my goals. But as life does, there were many bumps and detours along the way.
Over the past 12 months, I have experienced a job loss (which in the long run I consider to be a blessing), the loss of
my brother..which hit me very hard, and the birth of my 4th grandchild..Andrew who is absolutely beautiful and is such a blessing. I include this information, not to make you sad or feel sorry for me, but to let you know I am probably a lot like you. Continue reading
Today I want to talk about something that is not always so obvious to those who are new to Traffic Exchanges, and clicking to earn credits to show their products. Exchanging time and clicks can be very boring, but many of the Traffic Exchanges have added contests, bitcoins, zubees, stickers, you name it to make it more exciting and keep eyes on their promotions. I joined a program called CTP (Click-Track-Profit) from TimTech because it has a good training program included and shows the beginners how to get started. It also has a more advanced version that includes more detailed training called Kore4. Kore4 includes upgrades to 5 sites to make the most of your efforts. Continue reading
Beautiful View at the Grand Canyon
Hello again, I had an incredible summer and I hope you did as well. For me, summer is a time to relax and enjoy the beautiful weather, family times and travel when possible. This has been a great year for me when it comes to travel. Going through a Job Discontinuance is the best thing that has happened to me in a very long time. It allows me the time to pursue something that I love with passion. That is developing my online coaching and marketing business.
You will start to see a lot of additions and changes to this blog over the next few months. It is my intention to post at least 3 times a week with information about things going on, product reviews, personal development tips, etc. What would you like to read about? What would help you in building your own business or fulfilling your goals? Continue reading
As Days 4 and 5 have come and gone, I took the driving time to listen to some educational CD programs. I have listened to the entire program from Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University and moved on to some CD’s from T. Harv Eker. I am a big promoter of lifetime learning and this trip has started allowing my creative juices flowing. I am really looking forward to seeing what happens as a result of all this working on myself and making my dreams and goals into reality.
My Room Upgrade!
So as I arrived in Albuquerque, NM , I had a very nice surprise at the hotel. My room was upgraded and wow it was terrific. An in-room jacuzzi and huge tv along with a king size bed were just what the doctor ordered after driving for 4 days. The ever changing vistas and terrain never cease to amaze me. Continue reading
Day 2- Branson, MO
View From Hotel In Branson, MO
Branson, MO is known for being a place to go to listen to great country acts, as well as lots of family fun, such as putt-putt golf, a toy museum, soldiers museum, and so much more. There are so many different activities to choose from. This was my first time to be in Branson and it is now on my list to bring my children and grandchildren back sometime soon.
Stone Hill Winery
Wine Tasting Room
Since I had an early morning, I opted to just visit some of the local craftsmen stores and took part in a wine tasting. The Stone Hill Winery offers free tours and then follows up with tasting of many of the various wines made there. The tour guides were so friendly and helpful.
If you like wine and you are in the area, I highly recommend that you stop by and try some for yourself.
Wow the last 4 days have been a blast. I planned on posting each evening but ran into some wifi issues where I have stayed. Tonight I will add the first part of my trip. Unfortunately one of the down sides of traveling alone is that when you are driving, you cant really take pictures of the beautiful country you are going through.
One of the biggest issues I have faced since deciding to take this trip is the concern over a woman traveling alone cross-country. Continue reading
Have you ever found yourself procrastinating about doing something you know you should do, you want to do it, but you keep putting it off because its not complete or perfect. You think you don’t know enough or aren’t good enough or any of the other excuses we tell ourselves to avoid actually taking action. Continue reading
Today I am on a countdown, to a roadtrip out west. I am attending a transformational/success seminar in Scottsdale, AZ. Since I lost my job a few months ago and am working on building up my marketing and coaching business with a specialty in online services, I made the decision to fulfill one of the items on my bucket list. This was to drive cross country. I have been to the west coast and states west of the Mississippi many times, however it was always flying. As much as I love to fly, I really wanted to see the country and places in between.
There were lots of concerns from friends and family about my heading out on a 4000 mile round trip quest all alone, however I have planned as much as I could and am really looking forward to it. There may not be another time where I can be away from my home and/or business for almost a month again for a very long time. Continue reading
Changes and Challenges
April 24, 2015 .. Its not everyday you wake up in the morning and by the end of the day your life has changed in a major way. On a normal Tuesday morning, I headed out to work. That afternoon, several of my co-workers and myself were called into a meeting and told that our jobs were being eliminated effective April 30. Wow.. talk about a shock. After almost 11 years, my tenure there was about to end. I am about to join millions of other people who have lost their jobs over the last few years. Being 55 years old and feeling like my skills are outdated….is a little daunting, challenging, and to be absolutely honest…..SCARY!
But…for the last few years, I have been bored, and frustrated…stuck working in a cubicle as nothing more than a cog in a wheel for a big corporation. One of the things I had always told myself was that IF I only had the time to build my own business, to help other people…to travel more that I would do it. Well, it appears that now is my chance to do just that! No more excuses to myself that I don’t have the time. What exactly do I want to do next? I’m not sure, but having the time to explore the new world that is opening up to me is exciting. Continue reading
