So you want to start your own business, but have no idea where to start or what to do next? Over the next few weeks I will help guide you as you start this amazing and fun adventure. Now some of you may have lots of experience already and if you want to share your expertise and/or experience, please feel free to do so. I have found that we all have something to offer, even if we don’t know it yet.
Step One: Choose a user/company name…that you can use from day 1. Its very important to be careful because in some cases, the programs you join will not let you change the user name once it is set up. Remember this is a business if you want to maximize your earning potential.
Step Two: You will want to set up some method of being paid easily. Most programs will pay through Payza, Paypal, or a check. There are several other methods as well that you may wish to explore as you set your business up.
Step Three: Decide on your goals…and write them down. We will talk lots more about that later. Ask yourself how much money you want to make, how much time and/or money do you have to invest? If you don’t have much money to invest, don’t worry..we will talk about ways to make “seed” money to use to invest and grow your online ventures. Why do you want to work online? If you find a good strong “why”, it will make how so much easier. This is fun and exciting, but it is work!

I would like to emphasis the importance of choosing the name of a new business. Beyong the fact that lots of programs do not allow to change it later, the choosen name is very important in setting the profile and the brand of a business. So, the name should reflect the identity of the business owner, with the strenghts and original ideas. Further, it should be attached a representative logo to the business and last, but not least, have a short and descriptive sentence that characterize it. The sentence should be short, consistent, easy to remember and pointing out the strenght of the business, thus creating the trust relation with potential customers.
For example, “Honest Money Online. Get Started Today!” shows, in few words, what this business is about and invites anyone to take action.
